We Wanted Medicos to THINK - Rather than being carried away by SENSATIONALISM

We reacted more in recent sensationalism of west bengal issue & Now kept CALM on NEXT EXAM / Final Yr as Entrance Exam

We aren’t like TIDE in the Ocean , but like a continuous water stream in a river . We differed with medicos many a times , when they are being taken away by sensationalism . When the entire medical fraternity been stimulated on attacks on doctors and started doing agitations with out a clear national prospective and demand – We called on National level student leaders to come up with a National level demand and not just to confine at west bengal . We even remained medicos about the possible introduction of NMC with amendments in this parliament session and warned them that we should not get diverted on to another issue at this juncture .

When AP Medicos wanted to go for STRIKE on single point agenda of STIPUND HIKE , We mentioned that LIFE after finishing PG is much more important and so , REGISTRATIONS & RECOGNITIONS are much more important than Stipunds .

Tirupati SVMC Medicos are doing strike demanding justice for Dr Shilpa , who committed suicide followng her complaint to Governor of AP about sexual harassment . We agreed that we should demand punishment for culprits . But at the same time we should DEMAND CONSTRUCTIVE LONG TERM SOLUTIONS for the problem . Accused doctors were transferred to Nellore Govt College . But this incident had'nt motivated DME to Order formation of Women Greivance cells in Medical Collleges . Similarly in Guntur medical college Dr Sandhya Rani's suicide - Prof Lakshmi was solely blamed . But we strongly feel that HEAVY WORK LOAD is also the main reasons of her suicide . Look - if you dont have work and sits ideal & them someone blames you for not working well - You may not take it to heart . But a small word of displeasure after doing hectic work will hurt us more . Thats a big problem in every Govt OBGY Dept . I asked the students to DEMAND NON ACADAMIC JR's to help them in OBGY Dept . But they havent even bothered our suggestion . Dr Lakshmi been suspended - Yet - PG's are suffering the same that Dr Sandhya Rani faced . So - we are into CONSTRUCTIVE SOLUTIONS , that SUDDEN , SHORT TERM SENSATIONALISM

When Senior Residents joined under Compulsory Service at ACSR Nellore are planning a PROTEST demanding release of pending stipends of Rs.33,000/Mon – We mentioned that – “if your demand be for that Rs.33,000 – then plz ask from parents or take a loan” . We mentioned that calling us as TRAINEE’s and mentioning what being paid for us as STIPUND itself is an atrocity , leaving about the paltry amount of Rs.33,000/Mon. We motivated that we can do it for REGISTRATIONS , PROPER DESIGNATIONS & PROPER PAY ( Equal to that of 1st pay of Asst Prof as per MCI norms ) and not for the timely pay of Rs.33,000.

We are emotional and never been opportunistic . We differed with majority TRUTH demanded and stood by the side of Justice and we are always a right cause , rather than saying that we are always for medicos.
