GURUPUJOTSAVA MAHOTSAVAM @ NMC, Nellore - How It made a MBBS Batch resoundingly better

We believe in Core Values of Indianity and the discipline of Guru hierarchy mentioned in our purana’s . Once our general medicine HOD asked me casually about what we could do to make newly coming students disciplined .

I knew that discipline through FEAR has got a very short half life . I motivated then 1st MBBS students to celebrate TEACHERS DAY at Our Auditorium in a huge manner – That too in a very traditional manner – naming it GURUPUJOTSAVA MAHOTSAVAM . Students has taken blessings with ‘AKSHIMTALU’ after felicitating GURU’s in completely traditional manner .

What happened over the year is something shocking for faculty who has been constantly feeling that year by year – students are being bad ! That particular batch – did very well in academics and they are more punctual and disciplined than their seniors . At the end of their 1st MBBS one of our HOD’s asked them the REASON for such a striking difference – Ofcourse , students hasn’t answered . But when ONE respects teachers , they can sense it in a simple gesture of wishing . If the emotions are genuine – they reciprocate . When there is proper connect of the traditional GURU – SHISHYA Relation , obviously – students will excel .

WE STRONGLY OPPOSE MCI calling TEACHERS as FACILITATORS .OMG ! Ours is TRADITION of FALICITATING GURU's

Every relation can’t be ARTIFICIAL ! Particularly that with a TEACHER ! Bharat Medicos strongly condemns MCI’s recent education pattern that mentions TEACHERS as FELICITATORS . We would make sure that MCI will CORRECT its gross mistake and if possible , would ask to mention teachers as GURU’s .

We strongly believe that INDIAN VALUES are our FOUNDATIONS and we may change in our looks and style – But not in Values . Once we lost our own values , we would be like a sophisticated building without foundation – Just as like a CONFUSED WESTERN REPLICATE !
